 Visitor Visa 

Analysis of the basic requirements that you need to travel to Canada, such as:

  • Have a valid travel document, like a passport

  • Be in good health

  • Have no criminal or immigration-related convictions

  • Convince an immigration officer that you have ties—such as a job, home, financial assets or family—that will take you back to your home country

  • Convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit

  • Have enough money for your stay

    • The amount of money you will need depends on how long you will stay and if you will stay in a hotel, or with friends or relatives

You may also need a medical exam and letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.

 Spousal Sponsorship 

Determining the type of sponsorship and eligibility :

  • Prerequisites of a sponsor

  • Specific requirements

  • Duration of a sponsorship

  • Responsibilities and obligations

  • Fees and payment methods

If eligible, then:

  • Preparation and submission of the application

 Skilled Worker 

Federal Skills Worker: 

This program has minimum requirements for:

  • skilled work experience

  • language ability

  • education

You must meet all the minimum requirements to be eligible

If you meet all the minimum requirements, you will be assessed based on:

  • age

  • education

  • work experience

  • whether you have a valid job offer

  • English and/or French language skills

  • adaptability (how well you’re likely to settle here)

Federal Skills Trade Worker:

To be eligible, you must:

 Extension Of Status 

Extension of Status:

  • Assistance in applying for an extended stay in Canada, whether it's for a study or work permit

  • Application must be filed at least 30 days before expiration of the permit

 Student Permit 

 

Analysis your profile to determine eligibility. If eligible, analysis of the following:

  • Letter of acceptance from the designated educational institution

  • Proof of identity, financial support and medical insurance

  • Police certificates

  • Fingerprints and photo (biometrics)

  • Medical exam

  • Letter to a visa officer explaining your motivation

  • Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ) if you study in Quebec

  • Payment of fees required by the client

  • Submission of the application if complete

  • Documentation supporting the business legitimacy

  • Collective Bargaining Agreement if applicable

  • Proof of Recruitement

  • Employment Contract

If the answer is positive regarding the LMIA from both the ESCD and MIDI, then:

  • Self-declaration by the employer - Temporary Work form

  • Application for Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ)

Documents that the employee receives from the employer :

  • Confirmation letter from ESDC

  • Work permit and CAQ from MIDI

 Work Permit 

Determination of the type of work permit required, if applicable:

  • Open permit to work for any eligible employer

  • Closed license to work for a single designated employer

  • Determine if you are eligible to work in Canada:

    • Provide proof that you will leave when the license expires

    • Proof of enough money to support yourself and your family

    • Police certificates

    • Not constitute a danger to the security of Canada

    • Medical exam

    • Payment of fees required by the client

    • Submission of the application when completed

 Super Visas 

Determining the eligibility:

  • Parent or grandparent

  • Signed letter from the sponsor that states his / her responsibilities and obligations

  • Other requirements

  • Fees and payment methods

  • Preparation and submission of the application 

 Provincial Nominee 

Assistance in the application process with one of the following provinces or territories.  The criteria by province and territory vary and can change without notice.

Please note that the province of Quebec does not have a provincial nominee program.

Quebec is a province that has special status in Canada. It has recognition of being a distinct society due to

  •  a French-speaking majority

  •  its "unique" culture

  •  use of the civil law in the   province's legal system

They both share jurisdiction in immigration

  • therefore, the prices quoted for the different categories on this page include Quebec (except for fees that are exclusive to the government of Quebec)
